Trial Attorney

Excellent opportunity for an attorney with jury trial experience to join the team at Sholes Miller Rodriguez & Brown, PLLC, an established firm practicing in the Hudson Valley, Westchester, New York City and the Capital District. Full-time, competitive compensation and extensive benefits. Great flexibility regarding where and when you work.

Qualifications

  • Admitted to practice in NYS
  • D. from an accredited law school
  • Jury trial experience
  • At least three to five years of litigation experience
  • Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a litigation caseload, working on matters from pleadings up to and including trial
  • Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
  • Regularly handle court appearances and conduct depositions
  • Effectively communicate with and counsel clients
  • Frequently provide written reports
